About you:

Working as the Head Chef, your specific responsibilities include:

  • Working to prepare & present a wide variety of nutritional meals suitable for children 0 to 6 years of age
  • Manage allergy and intolerance requirements with food preparation
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in line with Food Safety Program
  • Adhere to food safety standards at all times, while having a strong sense of children's nutritional and dietary requirements along with the understanding of Nutrition Australian and Niño ELA's guidelines, policies and procedures

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef
  • Previous experience in Early Learning.
  • Studying or completion of a Commercial Cookery qualification
  • Must have a passion for creating healthy and nutritious meals for children
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Current 'Food Safety Supervisor' certificate (suitable for early learning centres)
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis certificate
  • Be a reliable, positive and well organised person.
