Part-time Warehouse Operator-Kalgoorlie

Purpose of role

General duties include assisting and supporting sales and marketing of mining parts and other products. You will be required to assist the efficient operation of the branch by receiving and dispatching stock, maintaining communications with customers as required.

Main Duties and responsibilities

  • Maintaining warehouse operations, including receiving and shipping stock, stock management, and other related activities.
  • Liaising with Freight companies, customers and relevant branches or head office to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of stock.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in the warehouse by appropriately sorting and storing stock and maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
  • Assist in bi-annual stock counts
  • Support the preparation of pricing/quotes of Rock Tools and other products for current Customers, as identified and delegated by the Western Australia Account Manager
  • Assisting in consignment stock, contracts Counts, documentation, stock reordering and communications with head office.
  • Provide support to the 3rd Party OHS provider- by assisting with the implementation of policies, procedures, and ensuring the web-based portal is maintained and up to date as required by the OHS provider

Qualifications

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence (C Class)
  • forklift certificate
