The team has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts and Procurement Lead to work on our large Data Centre portfolio. We are looking for someone with a wide range of experience to work across a variety of different programs, from feasibility to delivery, and some great soft skills to collaborate with our clients.

Job Description

As a Contracts and Procurement Lead in our Real Estate team, we are looking for you to lead these large projects, manage a team, have a commercial focus and balance working across major projects.
- Leading the contracts and procurement activities on large scale Data Centre projects as the key client interface.
- Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion.
- Managing the Supply Chain, Contact and Procurement, contract execution and contract management.
- Managing project timelines, risks and reporting as it relates to contracts and procurement.
Qualifications
- A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management.
- Experience in contract management, cost management and contract negotiation.
- Experience working for a General Contractor or subcontractor highly desirable.
- 15+ years industry experience working on major data centre and / or mission critical projects.
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regarded.
- Technical ability to lead discussions and negotiations with contractors and suppliers. Strong knowledge of construction and / or MEP systems preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
