Contracts Administrator

Key Responsibilities:
- Support regional teams with contract management activities, including development and administration related to Operations contracts.
- Assist the Contracts Coordinator and Commercial Manager in creating the Contracts Management Framework.
- Provide document management support for contract management to the Commercial Operations team.
- Prepare tender and contract documentation for minor works contracts using established templates, in accordance with authority levels.
- Work with the Operations and Commercial Operations teams to execute contracts and ensure adherence to the Procurement Policy and contractual requirements for minor contracts.
- Assist in reviewing invoices to ensure compliance with contract rates and aid in the preparation of relevant journals.
- Provide coverage for the High Wide Loads function during leave periods.
- Offer general contract administration support and leave coverage to the Commercial Operations team.
Essential:
- Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of contract governance principles.
- Proficient in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Proven experience in contract and accounts administration, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
- Highly action-oriented, approaching new opportunities and challenges with energy and enthusiasm.
- Strong communication skills, capable of delivering clear messages tailored to diverse audiences.
- Customer-focused, dedicated to building strong relationships and providing customer-centric solutions.
- Effective at planning and prioritizing tasks to align with organizational objectives.
Desired:
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the energy industry in Western Australia.
- Currently holds or is pursuing formal qualifications in Business, contract administration, or management.
- Experience in managing commercial contracts or a strong familiarity with commercial contracts and power purchase agreements.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and others.
Qualification (Diploma or advanced diploma) in Business administration or related discipline preferred.
