Due to having a large pipeline of works in the Hervey Bay Region, we're on the lookout for a skilled Pipe Layer to join our Pipe Crew. Working in small teams, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects including subdivisions and infrastructure, including roads and bridges.

Shadforth have an ongoing pipeline of work in the region and can offer the right candidate a genuine opportunity to grow their skills and progress their career with a leading Civil Contractor, with an opportunity to train up into leadership.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience working on Civil Projects 
  • Demonstrated experience laying sewer, storm water and water main.
  • Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching. 
  • Capable of shooting and reducing levels using Dumpy level
  • Ability to set-up pipe laser
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand plans and standards
  • Confined space, quick cut, front end loader tickets (desirable) 
  • Plumbing qualification - Desirable but not essential
