Metal Fabricator

Position: Metal Fabricator 

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $70,000 plus 11% superannuation per annum 

Location: Minto NSW 2566

Our client is looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Minto, New South Wales.

Tasks required include:

• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines.
• Setting up metalwork machinery, including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears
• Fabricates and repairs metal products using various welding techniques
• Manage the machines that manufacture and repair metal structures, tools, and equipment
• Assemble/fabricate equipment and metal structures
• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, fit/weld according to drawing specifications 
• Performing quality checks on completed products.
• Comply with the health/safety programs
• Maintain a neat and clean work area
• Maintain punctuality and daily time records.

Requirements:

• Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV in
• Engineering Fabrication Trade or equivalent
• At least three (3) years of related experience in steel/stainless steel manufacturing
• Drivers Licence
• Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
