Maintenance Fitter

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's Maintenance Team at a prestigious packaging facility, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. As a key member of their team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards in the packing operations.
 

Responsibilities & duties will include:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of site plant and equipment
• Maintain and repair equipment
• Support preventative maintenance programs
• Fault finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Support continuous improvement on performance, innovation, efficiency, and safety
• Support and maintain compliance with WHS practices
• Provide after-hours on-call support (roster system)

We are looking for:

• A suitably qualified candidate who has demonstrated experience in a maintenance role
• A trade qualification in fitting or a related trade is desirable
• Previous maintenance experience in a packaging/production or winery facility is highly regarded
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills     
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Forklift and EWP licenses are desirable, but not required
• A White Card/ Construction Induction Card
