  • Qualifications: Registration with VIT and accreditation to teach in a Catholic school, or a willingness to undertake accreditation.

  • Differentiated Learning: A thorough understanding of differentiated and personalized learning approaches.
  • Contemporary Teaching Practices: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing modern teaching and learning strategies, particularly in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Student Wellbeing: An understanding of wellbeing strategies to support learning and address specific student needs.
  • Relationship Building: The ability to develop respectful, learning-centered relationships with children and their families.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, colleagues, parents/carers, and community members.
  • Commitment to Continuous Learning: A willingness to engage with colleagues in a cycle of continuous inquiry and learning about effective teaching practices.
  • School Community Participation: An eagerness to participate in the broader life of the school, including the Sacramental program, camps, and community events.
  • Commitment to Growth: A willingness to engage in ongoing learning and constructive self and peer reflection.
  • Tech Savvy: Experience in using information technologies as tools for learning. Familiarity with Google Drive and Seesaw is a plus.
