Position Details:

  • Location: Tweed Heads, NSW
  • Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role:
As our Qualified Chef, you’ll play an essential role in promoting the wellbeing of our residents through high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs and preferences. You will oversee meal preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and create a warm, enjoyable dining experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present meals that meet nutritional guidelines and individual dietary requirements.
  • Plan menus with consideration for residents’ preferences and any health-related restrictions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the care team to support residents’ overall health and wellbeing through balanced meals.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
  • Current Food Safety Certification.
  • Ability to obtain a current National Police Check.
  • Experience in aged care or healthcare settings (preferred).
  • Compassionate and team-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
  • Full Australian working rights, There is no sponsorship available
