Full-time employment FIFO and DIDO from Brisbane to install and refurbish supermarket refrigeration systems in NSW and QLD. For a Refrigeration technician or mechanic interested in earning big dollars through the installation, Refurbishment and Service of commercial Refrigeration and commercial Air Conditioning systems

  • You'll need to have completed your apprenticeship and have some experience with bigger systems, live in Brisbane or Gold region Coast and be happy to work away from home.
  • Salary guide: $45 per hour + Living Away from Home Allowance.
  • FIFO from Brisbane or Gold Coast.

A typical project involves working within a Supermarket, removing old refrigeration units, installing new piping, and fitting new refrigeration systems in various stages. This job is distinctly different from mining work given the fast turnaround required.
The position involves shift work, including early mornings and nights to accommodate the operational hours of shopping centers.
The role is focused on installations, such as completely overhauling deli sections, without involving service or commissioning work. A full refurbishment project lasts 14 weeks, with 5 weeks dedicated to night shifts. Assignments typically last 4 weeks.

The main challenge is the widespread location of work, for example, you might be in Sydney or North Queensland for anywhere from 1 to 14 weeks (full refurbishment). There's a lot of work that requires living away from home, presenting an opportunity to earn a significant income. Whether working as a contractor (ABN) or on the payroll is acceptable.
The work is very niche and tailored to client demands.
The base location is in Brisbane, though many of their projects are in the Gold Coast or Brisbane, with fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
Workers are expected to have their own vehicle equipped with their tools. If assigned to Townsville, arrangements for returning home for weeks are made, including flights back.
