Role Overview: An experienced Site Supervisor is required to join this organisation on a major infrastructure project. This pivotal role involves supervising various construction sites, supporting broader construction teams with planning, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring quality, safety, environmental compliance, and progress reporting. The successful candidate will manage essential equipment such as needles, compressors, and screens, while working on complex projects including bridge and structural works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision: Oversee multiple construction sites, ensuring adherence to high standards of quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordination: Support the delivery team with planning works, coordinating the efforts of subcontractors, and managing equipment.
  • Team Management: Record and monitor working hours for site personnel, and maintain effective communication with other supervisors and engineers.
  • Project Reporting: Contribute to progress reporting and ensure the successful implementation of construction projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships through proactive and professional communication.
  • Autonomy & Collaboration: Operate autonomously while working closely with a well-staffed delivery team of engineers and managers.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Demonstrable site manager experience on relevant infrastructure projects.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of managing high-complexity projects with tight deadlines.
