Epping, Australia Our Lady Help Of Christians Catholic School Full time

Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Primary School, Epping is currently seeking an energetic and passionate Classroom Teacher - Library. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and cohesive team.

This is a temporary part-time opportunity (0.2FTE) to start on 31 January 2025 and end on 26 January 2026. During this engagement, the successful candidate will be required to work on Friday of every week.

This role will be initially located at our temporary site, St Agatha's Catholic Primary School, Pennant Hills and will move to our brand new, modern facility at Epping later in the 2025 school year (Epping location will preferably be a Wednesday but negotiable for the right candidate). 

Shorter term applications for just our Pennant Hills site (term 1) will also be considered.

  • Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School
  • Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community
  • Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning

Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4-year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four-year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.

New position on COVID-19 vaccinations

Given the current management of risks associated with COVID-19 in the community, and the gradual wind-back of some settings, CSBB has decided to no longer require all staff to be fully vaccinated, effective 19 September 2022.
