- Collaborate with buyers to identify and select suppliers, source goods, and negotiate contracts for various products, ensuring favourable terms, competitive pricing, and quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with organizational objectives, with a focus on minimizing costs, and meeting our customers’ requirements
- Prepare quote documentation, evaluate vendor proposals, analyse pricing and quality, and participate in contract negotiations to secure value-driven outcomes.
- Play a central role in ERP system transitions, create new codes, maintain data accuracy, and implement system improvements to streamline procurement and inventory functions.
- Ensure products and processes adhere to Australian and international compliance and quality standards, working alongside QA teams to secure necessary certifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including logistics, graphics, finance and sales teams, to align procurement activities with operational and project milestones.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve supply chain issues to ensure continuity and timely delivery.
- Leverage contract management tools to, support vendor performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Address customer service queries, manage order processing and delivery tracking, and ensure inventory accuracy to support timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Oversee end-to-end shipment processes, including coordinating with freight forwarders, tracking shipments, and managing customs clearance to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor market trends and sales data, and procure alternative suppliers to meet shifts in consumer demand.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to introduce new products, analyse customer feedback, and contribute to operational improvements that enhance procurement and supply chain efficiency.
