About us:
KSZ Automotive and Smash Repairs Pty Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Automotive mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our shop, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Repair and replace defective or worn-out parts, including engines, brakes, transmissions and suspension components.
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.
- Ensure all repairs are completed according to manufacturers' specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all services and repairs performed on each vehicle.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and attend training as needed.
- Advise customers on the proper care and maintenance of their vehicles to prevent future issues.
- Provide estimates for repair costs and obtain customer approval before starting any work.
- Coordinate with the parts department to order necessary components for repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
- Test-drive vehicles after repairs to verify proper functionality and performance
- Handle customer inquiries and address any concerns or complaints professionally
- Collaborate with other team members to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to the shop's policies and guidelines and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Stay customer-focused and provide excellent service to build trust and loyalty.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics or apprentices as required.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve skills and stay updated on industry trends.
- Ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks to meet shop targets and deadlines.
- Follow environmentally friendly practices when handling hazardous materials.
How to apply:
