Cleaners needed

About us: OCS is a leading provider of cleaning services, committed to excellence and professionalism. We are currently hiring a Cleaner at our DNATA location in Coolangatta QLD. DNATA Catering is a global leader in providing flight catering services at Gold Coast Airport.
  
The ideal applicants will be well presented, proactive and able to work well on their own. They will also be able to use their initiative in their daily routine to provide services that are of a high standard.

Positions available: 
1 x Part Time 10am - 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday
1 x Part Time 1pm - 5pm Monday, Wednesday & Friday
1 x Full Time 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday  

Responsibilities:

• Facility Cleaning: Regularly clean all areas of the facility, including kitchens, dining areas, restrooms, offices, and entryways, ensuring all spaces meet health and sanitation standards.
• Equipment Care: Clean and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, ensuring they are stored correctly and safely after use.
• Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste and recycling according to company policies and municipal guidelines.
• Supply Management: Restock consumable items like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels throughout the facility.
• Deep Cleaning: Conduct scheduled deep cleaning tasks and sanitation procedures, particularly in high-traffic and food preparation areas, to maintain an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Safety Practices: Follow all safety and health regulations related to cleaning chemicals and supplies, ensuring proper ventilation and protective gear usage as necessary.
• Reporting Issues: Report any maintenance or safety issues encountered during cleaning to the maintenance supervisor promptly.

Applicants must have

• Experience in various aspects of cleaning. 
• Knowledge of chemical use and PPE
• Understanding of OHS practices.
• Well-presented and ability to follow safety instructions. 
• Must be able to pass an Australian National Police Clearance
• Demonstrate Full Working Rights in Australia
• Good communication skills
