Due to Care Minute changes from 1 October 2024, we are introducing a Clinical Support role to support our CCM and the RN team to provide support for administrative based clinical tasks as well as provide practical ‘on the floor’ support.

This role is Monday to Friday 0900 – 1700 with some flexibility.

Your New Role

In this pivotal and highly rewarding position, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting our clinical and care teams, including training, coaching on best practice and clinical principles.

• Conducting physical assessments of residents and ensuring quality of clinical care provided to residents meets and exceeds best practice.

• Assisting with preparation and leadership for site audits and accreditations.

• Fundamentally support the ongoing completion of Customer Care Reviews by RNs as well as supporting the weekly PCC and monthly falls meeting processes.

• Supporting RNs to complete new customer admissions and ongoing assessments to a high quality.

• Quality assurance audits and tasks to support compliance.

• Identifying and managing clinical risks.

• Management of resident needs and complex issues as required.

• Support with interviews for care and clinical team members.

• Successor for the CCM role and provide support for leave coverage.

About you:

As well as holding desire to be an accomplished Clinician and Leader, you will align to our Values of Bold, Warm and Honest. You will be able to demonstrate empathy and the ability to provide excellent clinical care for our residents, whilst effectively leading and supporting a team.

• Knowledge of accreditation procedures and standards.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and extensive leadership and management experience.

• An experienced and accomplished RN – Aged Care experience of at least 12 months.

• Proven ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives and implement new systems and processes.

• Effective ability to manage ANACC, rosters, clinical consumables in-line with budget and support requirements.

• Insight into operational management including recruitment and rostering.

• AHPRA registration and NDIS clearance

• Fully vaccinated for Influenza and COVID 19 (2 Doses)
