About the team
 

Retail Ready Operations Australia (RROA) is the first Coles owned retail ready meat facility. 
Based at Erskine Park, our site is highly automated, sophisticated and equipped to global best practice. We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met.  Our facility is fully integrated into the Coles sourcing, production, and logistics and stores' network.


About the Role 

Support, maintain and repair the site’s manufacturing equipment and support the delivery of performance improvement projects, equipment sourcing and process documentation 

You will also: 

  • Ensure that shut down and planned maintenance is scheduled and managed in the most effective manner.
  • Develop proactive maintenance models that create a predictive plan to ensure minimal site downtime 
  • Work closely with the quality team to develop solutions to improve product quality, reduce waste and improve yield.
  • Lead the safety culture through leading by example and team engagement.
  • Lead and drive collaboration across the overall business operations to ensure the best outcomes for Customers and for Coles.


About you and your skills 

We are looking for someone with strong understanding of mechanical environments with exposure to manufacturing preferred

You will also have: 

  • Technical proficiency in engineering, maintenance, and reliability.
  • Evidence of having developed and implemented maintenance KPI’s in an environment requiring robust accurate reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple and complex priorities.
  • Ability to build strong functional relationships with functional reports, peers, and senior management.
  • Knowledge of the food processing industry and food safety/ HACCP principles is ideal
