What will you do?
We have an exciting opportunity to join Target on a 6-month fixed-term basis.
As a Digital Designer at Target, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence and enhancing the digital experience for millions of Australians. You’ll be at the forefront of creative innovation, collaborating with a passionate team to design and develop engaging online content that brings our brand to life.
Your responsibilities will include:

Creative Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to create innovative, visually stunning content that meets branding requirements and captivates our audience.

Strategic Execution: Deliver content that aligns with our strategic direction, ensuring an exceptional digital customer experience across all platforms.

Continuous Improvement: Take the lead in optimizing our web content, refining digital workflows, and implementing improvements that drive better customer engagement and satisfaction.

Campaign Delivery: Ensure our website is up-to-date and optimized for major campaigns and trading environments, playing a key role in the success of our online initiatives.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, technical skills, and passion for delivering top-tier digital experiences. What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you should have:

A Diploma in Digital User Experience Design or a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Creative, or Design or similar
-
1-3 years of experience in digital web design, particularly in a retail environment.
-
Strong skills in web design systems, Figma, Sketch, Adobe, and web content management systems with HTML & CSS knowledge.
-
A solid understanding of UX Design Systems & Principles, SEO, and experience in design process workflows.
-
Experience in creative media, advertising, content production (video, photography, 3D, retouching), and digital asset management.
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
-
The ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a team environment.
-
A passion for customer-centered design and a keen eye for detail, with a strong understanding of eCommerce retail customer behavior.
