Position Summary
Bass Coast Health is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead an important team and department that delivers an efficient and robust fortnightly payroll to 1,200+ employees.
Reporting into the Director of Finance, and through effective stakeholder relationships, effective communication and a good knowledge of systems, processes and award interpretation, you will work with the Payroll team to undertake key tasks including processing of timecard data and entitlements, provide oversight through quality assurance processes, training and development of staff and administration of statutory duties and improvement initiatives.
Health Service Payroll experience is not essential but would be helpful. We want someone who has a willingness to learn and improve processes in a growing environment, ability to interpret complex awards but also the ability to get along with people and communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll experience
- Experience in award and policy interpretation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to implement change
- Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel
Requirements:
- Valid Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Flu Vaccination
