Position: Permanent or Fixed Term, Full-Time and Part-Time

About the Role:

As an Emergency Medicine Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive clinical services and leading a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to exceptional emergency care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing over 25,000 annual presentations in the Emergency Department.
  • Leading and supporting teams comprised of Senior Medical Practitioners, Junior Medical Officers, nursing, and administrative staff.
  • Collaborating with organisations such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Rural Clinical School of Western Australia.
  • Participating in a rotating roster with three shift options and on-call duties, ensuring continuous coverage for emergency services.

About the Region:

The Goldfields region is the largest in Western Australia, encompassing breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural history, and unique natural attractions. From the rugged beauty of the Northern Goldfields to the stunning beaches of Esperance, this region offers a blend of adventure and cultural experiences.

you will be working in the largest outback city providing a welcoming community with a population of over 30,000 and access to diverse recreational opportunities.
