Job Description

Reporting to the Tax Manager, the Senior Tax Advisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's tax compliance and providing expert tax advice. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Tax Compliance: Ensure the accurate and timely filing of company tax returns, including FBT, income tax, and GST.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of the tax compliance process.
• Tax Advisory: Provide expert tax advice and solutions to internal stakeholders, addressing issues proactively.
• Project Involvement: Support various tax-related projects and regulatory reviews.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage potential tax risks, ensuring compliance with governance requirements.
• Transparency Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports for tax transparency initiatives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate tax matters and updates to relevant stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

• A tertiary degree in accounting, CA, CPA, or CTA Qualified
• 5+ years experience in taxation in either a Big4, mid-tier or large commercial organisation
• Ability to interpret and apply tax legislation.
• Strong problem solving, informed decision making and advisory skills in technical tax matters.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
• High proficiency in problem-solving and making informed decisions.
