Based in the South Coast region of Western Australia, South Coast Natural Resource Management is an independent, community-based organisation, providing leadership and expertise in natural resource management, conservation, sustainability, and community capacity. Our purpose is to inspire and empower people to care for nature for the benefit of future generations and for nature itself.

The role

South Coast NRM is seeking a Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator (SAF) to provide a designated, central point of contact for farmers, landholders, industry and community groups to support the adoption of sustainable, climate-smart agriculture practices.

This role will have significant investment in professional development and training, including attendance at annual conferences for networking and knowledge growth. In addition, there is a significant professional development budget that will be invested into you as the SAF with a focus on identifying skills, knowledge and training to support areas of growth.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of agricultural production and natural resource management in the South Coast region of WA, with project management experience, proven interpersonal skills, facilitation skills and high level time management skills.

The position is based in Albany, WA at 0.8FTE.
