We are currently offering a great opportunity for a driven Agronomist to join our team.

About the opportunity:

You will work closely with our key clients to provide superior agronomic advice and inputs with a focus on broadacre agronomy and crop monitoring.

You will share information with producers related to environmental and seasonal conditions affecting crop production, perform soil testing and study other factors affecting production to provide sound fertiliser, nutrient, and soil recommendations to improve quality and yield.

In addition, you will conduct field demonstrations and trial work for product development in conjunction with key suppliers. You will also work collaboratively with branch staff to drive promotions, merchandising and sales performance.

About You:

To be successful you will have a passion for Australian agriculture, demonstrating a solid understanding of products and production systems ideally with some exposure to horticulture/broadacre cropping but those with exposure to small crops/tree crops, pasture, woody weed control and irrigation are also encouraged to apply.

Solid customer service skills Administration and computer abilities Strong communications skills, both verbal and written Tertiary qualification in agricultural science/plant and soil science or similar is essential 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role would be desirable Driver’s license is required
