Position Details

Kearnan College is a co-educational school catering for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. The College was founded by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1925 and has a rich history of providing quality education in the Manjimup area for almost 100 years.

The College is seeking a passionate Primary School Teacher to join its Junior School team from June 2024.

This is a temporary full-time position commencing on 17 June 2024 and concluding on 31 December 2024.

Selection Criteria

• Demonstrate excellent pedagogical practices with a flexible, collaborative and student-centered approach, promoting student wellbeing and pastoral care.
• Possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the need for both Explicit and Differentiated instruction within a classroom environment.
• Be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator who understands and can demonstrate the importance of ICT being embedded and integrated into their teaching practices.
• Be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers and the Leadership Team.
• Display excellent classroom management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrate the skills to contribute to and promote a strong staff culture and work collaboratively with students, staff, parents and Parish to build community.

Qualifications Required

• Relevant 4-year tertiary qualifications.
