Our client, TH Hospitality Services Pty Ltd is looking for Cooks.

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues

• Prepare and cook food
• Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations. If not adequate, order food supplies.
• Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
• Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
• Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
• Liaise with kitchen staff, director and other stakeholders regarding any potential preparation issues and enforce strict health and hygiene standards
• Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
• If required, train staff in line with company procedure

Competencies and experience required:

• Proven minimum 2 years experience in a Cook role
• Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Knowledge of best cooking practices

Job Location: Jacobs Well, QLD

This is a Full time position

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
