About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as an Advanced Trainee/Fellow Paediatric Rehab where you will be responsible for:

  • Provision of high-quality inpatient and outpatient and community based clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients under consultant supervision within the Department of Paediatric Rehabilitation Services.
  • Involvement with clinics established at the hospital, within the community, and with the Cerebral Palsy Register.
  • Contribute to ensuring that clients’ functional levels are restored or managed using evidence based best practice and will work in collaboration with other health professionals.

As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-months allocation as Advanced Trainee Fellow Paediatric Rehab will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent,
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner
  • Ability to work as an effective team member in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Skills in problem solving and decision making with regard to patient management.
