But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300

We do more than collect the bin from your street we also; convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Yard Hand / Depot Labourer, you will perform general yard maintenance and cleanliness and carry out non-technical maintenance in our Largs North depot (Adelaide). 

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

You will enjoy family friendly hours, as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends

DUTIES:

  • Maintaining general yard cleanliness.
  • Maintaining routine work records and inventories.
  • Carrying out non-technical maintenance tasks as required.
  • Manual handling around the yard.
  • Bins maintenance and stock control
  • General house keeping and yard duties as required
  • Maintaining routine work records and inventories

ABOUT YOU:

  • Current Forklift Licence - essential
  • Show interest and enthusiasm in a long-term career at JJ’s
  • Reliable; we are an essential service industry 
  • Current HR licence - preferred
  • Subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
  • Able to provide your last 5 years’ traffic history at interview stage
  • Well-developed people and relationship skills
