Centurion Transport in Kalgoorlie is currently seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our Yard operations team full-time as a Freight Officer. • Tasks & Responsibilities

• Operating various sized forklifts (2.5T, 7T and 16T)
• Processing various types of general freight from beginning to end (palletised, ugly and oversize)
• Secure and restrain all loads as per the load restraint guide
• Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions
• Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch
• Guaranteeing freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times
• Liaising with other freight officers and supervisors as to achieve the best possible outcomes.

• Requirements of the role

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) 
• Preferred experience with general freight and restraining loads
• Ability to take direction from management and supervisors
• Preferred scanning experience
• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and RIPPA values
• Adaptable to a changing work environment
• Working as part of a team
• Having the care factor to achieve goals and KPI’s
