Join Our Team at Kurri Kurri & Lochinvar OOSH
HRG is proud to partner with Kurri Kurri Community Services (KKCS) in recruiting for Kurri Kurri & Lochinvar OOSH. We are seeking passionate Out of School Hours Care (OOSH) Educators who are dedicated to nurturing and developing children aged 5-13 in our community.
 
About Us:
KKCs OOSH Educators provide genuine care beyond just OSHC supervision, working with individuals to build their social skills and helping them bloom into wonderful young people.
 
About the Role:
We are seeking permanent part-time employees, offering guaranteed hours every fortnight with the potential for additional hours during school terms and vacation care. You will be rostered at both our Kurri Kurri and Lochinvar Centres, gaining a variety of skills in a childcare setting.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children to and from the school bus
  • Encourage growth and individuality
  • Facilitate engaging activities to foster social skills and creativity
  • Lead arts & craft activities
  • Handle food preparation & service
  • Perform general cleaning duties

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with and being around kids
  • First Aid & CPR in an Education & Care setting (including HLTAID012)
  • Excellent communication skills with children and adults
  • Current and verified Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • National Police Check less than 12 months old
  • Qualifications in Childcare and/or Development are highly desired

Shift Options:
Part time: 15 hours minimum - 35 maximum

  • Mornings
  • Afternoons
  • Both mornings and afternoons
