Your valued skills will be maximised working in all areas of the perioperative environment.  If you are looking to grow as a perioperative nurse, then this position is for you.  We deliver a wide range of surgical services Monday to Friday with no on call requirements, providing a great work life balance.  You will be part of a dedicated team who are committed to patient focused care.

Grampians Health Stawell has one operating theatre that is utilised Monday to Friday.

We provide a wide range of surgical services by our visiting surgeons including general, gynaecological, orthopaedic, endoscopy, ENT and ophthalmology with GP anaesthetists.  We are supported by a dedicated Education team, Infection Control Manager and Regional Support Networks. 

Skills and Experience

  • Recent or previous experience in Perioperative Nursing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full and unrestricted registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA)
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated with a strong customer focus

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $34.17 - $48.26 per hour.
