About the position

In the capacity of Videographer, the position requires context creation in the award-winning Nexus program, a part of the High Achieving Teachers Program (HAT) that offers an innovative employment-based teaching pathway. Nexus fosters a collaborative community of practice, bringing together the University, schools, and the wider community to nurture profession-ready teachers. The program emphasises mentoring, including school, university, and peer-based mentoring, acknowledging the transformative impact of mentorship on aspiring and in-service teachers alike.

The position will provide content and assets that can be used in a range of promotional contexts, ‘heroing’ the work of the students and staff that are involved in this innovative program. The role will be attractive to strong team players, who want to create compelling stories. The role will involve travel through Victoria and NSW, and involves a large degree of autonomy.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have:

Degree with subsequent relevant experience to consolidate the theories and principles learned, or extensive experience, leading to either the development of specialist expertise or to the development of broad knowledge in an administrative field, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience. Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise developed through extensive relevant experience and application. Ability to innovate and take responsibility for outcomes. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility. Demonstrated capacity to organise work effectively and efficiently and deliver outputs in a timely manner. Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow established procedures with limited supervision and contribute positively to an effective team. High level proficiency in computer software packages Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated customer service focus and solution orientated approach. Proven analytical and problem solving capability. Proven experience and success in managing staff performance and development.
