Job Description

The objective of the position is to ensure that TOMRA’s warehouse activities and tasks are performed to a high standard across Arndell Park warehouse. The purpose of this role is to ensure the warehousing function operates efficiently and effectively. As a member of the warehousing team, this role is critical in ensuring that service teams are adequately equipped to perform their tasks.

  • Complete pick-packer requirements to support various business functions
  • Perform quality checks on equipment and inventory
  • Receive, unload and process new stock
  •  Correctly store new stock when shipments arrive
  • Assist Warehouse & Logistics Manager in day-to-day activities within the warehouse
  • Operate the forklift to assist in the efficient functioning of the warehouse
  •  Report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Ensure that the warehouse space and its equipment is maintained and safe to use
  • Carry out warehousing duties as requested by Warehouse Supervisor
  • Ensure you take reasonable care for your own health and safety
  • Ensure you take reasonable care that your actions or inactions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others
  • Ensure all incidents and hazards at work are reported accurately and in a timely manner
  • Analyse areas of potential improvement of processes and report to local service team

Qualifications

  • LF Forklift Licence desirable
  • NSW Driver’s Licence
  • Knowledge of required supplies needed by various service teams
