The role of the SHE & Security Manager is responsible to ensure the following: 

SAFETY : Lead the site SHE Programmes to ensure the employees, contractors and visitors to the Moorebank Site work in a safe manner and return home uninjured. Manage dsm-firmenich SHE Requirements across 11 Chapters to meet all corporate requirements including global reporting, training, and leadership standards.

HEALTH : Manage health and vitality practices required to protect employees and contractors from adverse consequences relating to their work environment. Lead the site and country Vitality program to deliver results for all employees and our community.

ENVIRONMENT : Implementation and maintenance of Corporate Compliance programs to ensure no adverse impact to the environment from the Moorebank operations. 

SECURITY : Lead the programs and practices necessary to ensure that employees, corporate information and site assets are safe and secure. 

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Lead Continuous Improvement in all aspects of operations as the dsm-firmenich Integrated Continuous Improvement (DICI), key member.

Your key responsibilities 

Lead and manage the local Safety, Health, Environment, and Security programs as part of the Site Management Team. 

Implement Corporate Compliance programs locally and align with dsm-firmenich Business operations. 

Accountable for SHE & Security aspects of the local business, including regulatory compliance and development of new strategies. 

Manage annual SHE & Security plans and budgets in coordination with dsm-firmenich Food Specialties BG plans. 

Oversee administrative duties, training, audits, and emergency response plans related to SHE&S. 

Act as local security responsible (LSR) and represent dsm-firmenich management to local authorities and stakeholders. 

You bring 

Tertiary level qualifications or equivalent in Supply Chain, Management, Science or related field. 

Extensive experience (> 10 years) in a manufacturing environment (preferably heavy-industry, Food or Beverage).

Experience (> 5 years) in SHE Systems, legislation, and SafeWork Requirements. 

Knowledge of SHE, Security, Management skills and group training practices. 

Strong Communication skills - Verbal, Presentation and Reporting.
