We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Occupational Therapist to join our high-performing teams across Australia. This unique opportunity allows you to experience living in Australia while expanding your skillset in a workplace rehabilitation setting. You will apply your clinical expertise in occupation-centred work, engaging in a variety of services, including ADL (Activities of Daily Living) and VOC (Vocational) assessments. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities, and developing personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating a safe return to work. Responsibilities include:

Assessing injured workers to determine the best way to help them get back to work.  Visiting workplaces to understand what challenges an injured worker may face and educating them on how to prevent them.  Providing clinical opinions and justification through report writing.  Assessment of daily living activities Case managing complex injuries and liaising with treating doctors and health professionals to help an injured worker recover and get back to work. 

In this diverse and exciting position, you'll collaborate with and oversee other practitioners, taking ultimate responsibility for delivering injury prevention services, such as:

Pre-Employment Assessments including drug & alcohol, audiology, spirometry, vision, and functional testing.  Job dictionary is a detailed document outlining the essential duties, physical demands, and cognitive requirements of a specific job, crucial for assessing a client's suitability for return to work in workplace rehabilitation. Manual Task Risk Assessments.  Interactive Manual Handling Training and Stretching and Warm Up programs.  Workplace-based, home-based and vehicle based ergonomic assessments.
