We seek a highly motivated and experienced SAP Data and Analytics Practice Lead to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will leverage your expertise in SAP data and analytics to design and implement comprehensive data strategies, driving innovation and ensuring our clients' highest quality of service. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to unlock the true potential of data as a strategic asset.

About the role:

  • Align the data and analytics function's vision, goals, and roadmap with the business strategy and priorities
  • Lead the design, development, and optimisation of our data estate, including SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP S/4HANA
  • Define and execute the data and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee data solutions' design, development, and maintenance, ensuring they meet current and future needs
  • Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
  • Evaluate and select data and analytics tools and platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver impactful solutions
  • Experiment with new data and analytics technologies and methods to enhance business outcomes
  • Promote data literacy and skills across the organisation through training, coaching, and support

About you:

  • Extensive experience in SAP data and analytics technologies, including SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP S/4HANA
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex data and analytics projects
  • Strong experience in data governance, quality, security, and compliance
  • Relevant certifications in SAP data and analytics tools and platforms are a plus
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions and best practices
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Proficiency in data engineering, data warehousing, data modelling, data visualisation, and data analysis
  • Familiarity with agile, scrum, and DevOps methodologies

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools and understanding of deep learning techniques for their application in analytics.
  • Proficiency with advanced data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
  • Knowledge of data security and best practices
