Automotive Bookkeeper - Echuca VIC

About the role 
Are you a seasoned bookkeeper with a passion for accuracy and organization? On offer is a part-time role within one of Echuca’s award-winning businesses, known for its supportive and collaborative environment. 

Duties 

  • Enter sales orders and purchases, conduct bank reconciliations, and manage accounts payable/receivable 
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards 
  • Assist with payroll, timesheets, and other HR tasks 
  • Oversee office management tasks, including personnel, customer, and supplier records, insurance, and vehicle fleet management 
  • Provide front-office support, handling inquiries via reception and phone 

Skills and experience 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong bookkeeping background 
  • Previous experience in BAS preparation and or completion (BAS Agent status advantageous) 
  • Skilled in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities 
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to handle competing deadlines 
  • Automotive industry background is highly desirable 
  • Experience with Automation Premium software is a plus 
  • Must have a VIC Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle
