We currently have an opportunity for exceptional HSE Advisor to join our one of our trusted clients
Working across BHP sites you will be responsible for providing support to corporate and project teams in the delivery of work activities safely and to ensure health, safety & environmental management system compliance and support the development of industry best practice health, safety & environmental initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement, audit and conduct inspections of site specific HSE management systems
- Assist operational teams in complying with the HSE Management system
- Develop and implement new HSE initiatives
- Compile and issue HSE based reports (incident reports, trends analysis)
- Communicate HSE requirements to project/corporate teams
- Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health and environmental policies and programs
- Ensure effective communication of HSE information across the site
- Conduct incident investigations and issue findings to project team and management teams as required
About You
- Cert IV OH&S (minimum)
- White Card
- Full drivers licence
- Full, current BHP inductions or willing to obtain
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar position on a WA based mine site
- Minimum intermediate level across the Microsoft office suite of programs
- Previous experience within HSE databases
- Incident investigation experience (eg ICAM, Taproot)
- Available to medical ASAP and start at the end of April
