Bicycle Mechanic

For the first time in our 4 year history, Fitzroy’s favourite little bike shop is on the hunt for a new Bicycle Mechanic

Location: Fitzroy

Position: Bicycle Mechanic

Hours: Full or Part Time, with flexibility for the right candidate

Salary: $55,000 to $67,000 (pro rata for less than full time)

Responsibilities include:

- Competently perform repairs and servicing to a variety of Rockets — we see every type of bike

- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.

- Work effectively in a close-knit team.

- Although not a sales role, helping customers with the right vibe is a big part of the job.

- Maintain a clean and organised workshop space.

Requirements include:

- Proven experience as a Bicycle Mechanic, minimum of 12 months.

- Strong knowledge of bike components, tools, and repair techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Customer service-oriented with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

- Passion for cycling and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
