About the opportunity:

  • 1 x Full Time Dental Receptionists to work Monday to Friday (must be available for some Thursday evening and Saturday shifts)

The heart of the role: 

  • Warmly greeting patients, creating an excellent initial impression 
  • Scheduling and adjusting appointments, managing calls, and updating records 
  • Assisting the Practice Manager and clinical team in practice management 
  • Informing patients about dental services and promotions 
  • Managing payments 
  • Handling sensitive information while upholding patient confidentiality  

What you'll bring: 

  • 6 months+ experience as a Dental or Medical Receptionist preferred but not essential
  • Skilled at tackling challenges both on your own and as part of a team, while paying close attention to the little things 
  • Strong customer care focus. It is a very busy practice and time management will be crucial
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Maturity and reliability
  • Passionate about customer service/patient care 
  • Maintaining an orderly environment with a knack for systematic approaches 
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
