In Vitro Technologies is a Healthcare and Scientific distribution organisation who specialise in the sales, marketing, and support of medical products throughout Australia and New Zealand. 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are on the lookout for a Field Service Engineer to support our growing team throughout WA. Your day-to-day activities will focus on delivering engineering services and application support to customers of our medical devices & instrumentation equipment. 

You will be fundamentally responsible for providing ongoing post-sales support, enabling you to apply your expertise around how instruments, software, consumables, and accessories combine to create a solution that meets our client’s needs.

The successful applicant will come from a service plant maintenance background and possess good technical skills. Technicians working on industrial equipment and electrical or mechanical fitters encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installation, Commissioning, Validation, and Servicing of In Vitro’s medical equipment, instrumentation, & product portfolio
  • Diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment pertaining to said portfolio
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and break-down repairs at customer sites
  • Customer liaison and reporting of equipment servicing and breakdown support
  • Maintaining safe work environments and following safe operational practices
  • Maintaining and reporting on spare part holdings, inventory, and usage
  • Safety & Regulatory compliance

ABOUT YOU:

  • Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics trade, or Mechanical trades with a Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience with Hospital CSSD equipment - Instrument washers, sterilisers, and endoscope reprocessing
  • Experience working within a quality-certified environment covering electric, scientific, or biomedical services
  • Customer-service focused and willing to engage with key accounts
  • Technically astute with the ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and educational manner
  • Willing to be ‘on-the-road’ and hands-on where required
  • Current WA drivers Licence
  • Be able to attain a police check & attain a working with children's check
