MMG Rosebery:   

Rosebery is an underground polymetallic base metal mine located in the township of Rosebery in Tasmania, Australia and is 100% owned by MMG Limited. 

With continuous production since 1936 Rosebery mine has current potential to extend life beyond 2028. This underground mine has continually attracted and produced world class professionals. With a strong community focus and core values including safety and integrity, we are proud of our role in community development and our economic contribution to the local Tasmanian industry. 

The operation continues to deliver excellent operational performance and employs over 500 employees and contractors who reside in the local region. 

MMG Graduate/Early Career Program

As part of our 2-year Graduate Program, you will gain comprehensive experience across all areas of our mine, from underground operations to project management and environmental sustainability. This program is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to become a future leader in the mining industry.

Key features of the program

Melbourne head office induction week to introduce you to the company, functions, peers, managers, and leaders. Ongoing activities to share each other’s knowledge, experiences, ideas and feedback. Contribution to projects and exposure to our Senior Leadership team. Specific skills development trainings, on various technologies as well as soft skills. Career mentoring providing guidance in preparing for your professional life.

The Program will provide you with an outstanding opportunity to produce results, quickly gain credibility and develop a strong network within the organisation as well as the wider Mining industry over two years.

What we are looking for

Recent graduates from recognised universities within Australia, or final year students with a degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Individuals with a strong passion for the mining industry and a commitment to safety and sustainability. Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Eligibility to work in Australia.
