The Role  

Responsible for leading day-to-day stakeholder engagement, business transformation and technical change, the Project Manager ensures the successful delivery of key technology projects within Merivale. This includes planning, leadership, stakeholders’ management and financial control of assigned projects. 

Core Accountabilities  

  • Preparing and overseeing end to end project plans, including but not limited to: concept proposal, budgets, planning phases, managing delivery, execution of testing, change management requirements, project handover and measuring results.  
  • Partnering directly with business users and external stakeholders to gather and analyse new technical requirements. 
  • Undertaking consultation with operational business units regarding deployment of functionality, changes, configuration and associated processes.  
  • Analysing and delivering business process improvement initiatives. 
  • Leading cross-functional teams (internal and external) to successfully deliver projects. 
  • Managing business stakeholder relationships to deliver continuous value from technology, whilst maximising adoption and embedding of change. 

As an ideal candidate you will have: 

  • 5 + years’ experience in delivering technology or business projects. 
  • Experience in formal project management methodologies.  
  • Ability to run projects at pace and adapt to changes to the project portfolio and/or priorities. 
  • Demonstrated change management capability inc. cultural and process. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Internal and external stakeholder management specialist.  
  • Customer service focus, with experience in Hospitality or Retail industries.
