About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Allied Health team as an Occupational Therapist , where you will be responsible for:

Develop, coordinate, and implement high-quality occupational therapy services for children with developmental, medical, surgical, orthopedic, and chronic conditions and their families. Provide services to inpatients, outpatients, or at outreach locations. Provide a learning environment for students, colleagues and the WCHN community Contribute to the effective and professional functioning of the Occupational Therapy Service

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia Excellent communication skills Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate effective time management Experience with the provision and promotion of high quality, efficient and effective Occupational Therapy services Experience with assessment, treatment and providing advice in the area of infant development, occupational performance in pre-school and school age children including sensory processing, orthopaedic upper limb and chronic conditions Knowledge of relevant Paediatric Occupational Therapy theories and models
