Your Role

As a Dementia Advisor you'll be supporting the most important people in our organisation - our clients. 

Your tasks will include:

Providing person centered dementia advice to people living with dementia at home and their carersProviding a high level of assessment, behavioural analysis, goal planning and enabling strategies verbally and in written reportsCare co-ordination and referrals to local support servicesEvaluating the effects of support provided through planned reviewsContributing to service planning, management and reporting tasksMarketing and networking with community groups and individualsDelivering dementia education packages to the community and service provider.

Role Requirements

Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).Current Police Screening CertificateCurrent Queensland driver's licenceTertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a health related fieldCertificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards this qualificationDemonstrated experience in the delivery and management of community-based dementia services and careCurrent First Aid and CPR Certificates
