Part-time position 

We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, enthusiastic & nurturing Educational Powerhouse who:  

  • has a fierce passion for high quality Early Childhood Education & Care
  • has an inclusive leadership style and will mentor, motivate & empower our team in achieving professional growth 
  • is committed to their own professional development within the industry 

As our Educational Leader you will work closely with both our Senior Leadership Team & Educator cohort and provide curriculum direction as well as drive continuous improvements within our educational programs and practices. Through reflection and review you will identify the teams individual and collective strengths to create stimulating and inclusive learning opportunities for our children's inquisitive young minds to take flight. 

Sparrow Early Learning Coolum boasts a free flow indoor/ outdoor program with an amazing outdoor play space. Our team is made up of many long term and passionate educators. The service is located opposite Coolum State School and within walking distance to the shopping centre. Proudly we are one of the most sought after services in the community

What you’ll need:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
  • Proven knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, Childhood Development and Play-based Child-drive Pedagogy 
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to communicate with clear vision.
  • Experience with mentoring & collaborating with a diverse team 
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
