Bush Regenerators

Barung Landcare is seeking dedicated, environmentally focused individuals to join our Bush Regeneration teams. There are multiple casual positions available, with full time work available until end of June 2024. Extension is possible for the right candidates. We are looking for two distinct skill sets to assist with a wide range of intersting projects:

Bush Regenerators: Are you skilled in plant identification, herbicide application, hand weeding, planting tubestock and tool maintenance? We need experienced field crew to work accross our diverse sites in the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions.

Landscaping Professionals: Do you have landscaping experience and a desire to branch out into environmental work? Your skills are valuable for our projects that require less specialized bush regeneration expertise, and we want to hear from you

Mandatory Experience / Qualifications

Bush Regenerators:

Certificate I (or higher) in Conservation & Land Management or equivalent experience. Minimum 1 year of field experience in bush regeneration. ACDC Licence. Construction Safety White Card. Proficiency in S.E. QLD native and weed identification and appropiate herbicide use. Passion for working outdoors in the native environment. A First Aid Certificate. Chainsaw Certificate - Level 1. Current driver's license and own transport.

Landscaping Professionals:

Minimum 2 years landscaping experience. Relevant landscaping qualification.
