Headspace Early Psychosis is one of the world’s most innovative and comprehensive youth early psychosis programs being delivered through one program in each Australian state. Through this initiative, young people and their families have timely access to comprehensive evidence-based early psychosis services. This program aims to intervene early with young people who have unusual sensory experiences and/or beliefs and their families and supporters. The service builds on strengths and resilience, uses the wisdom of lived experience and fosters hope, potential, and recovery.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will play an important role in supporting the case management of young people with early psychosis. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the further development of this service.
The position requires experience in the diagnosis and provision of assessment and intervention with young people with psychosis and alcohol and other drug issues and their families.
About you
Approved tertiary qualifications and membership with relevant professional registering body (Nurses & Midwifery Board/Occupational Therapy Board/Psychology Board via AHPRA, or AASW) Extensive Skills and experience in assessment of adolescents and adults and skills in engaging with young people and their families Australian working rights Full Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination Current Victorian Driver's License Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background CheckOther benefits
