THE ROLE

As the Head of Campus, this role is paramount in leading the ongoing journey and paving the strategy of the school. In addition to fostering the philosophy and values, this role oversees a variety of core pillars, such as - student wellbeing, teaching and learning quality, compliance, and relationships with key school stakeholders. Working closely with the Group CEO and the Board, this position plays an integral role in ensuring that students and teachers alike are cared for, supported, and achieving their goals. This role is suited to a passionate and resilient individual, wanting to make a difference from within a leadership capacity

THE DUTIES

  • Overseeing the strategy, values, and student journey from first contact through to graduation
  • Management of the academic programs, student wellbeing, and disciplinary actions
  • Developing, updating, and overseeing compliance with key processes and procedures (e.g. accreditations, registrations, training compliance)
  • Preparing and presenting of reports to key stakeholders
  • Providing educational leadership to the dedicated staff base
  • Building and developing relationships with key school stakeholders (e.g. students, parents, carers, referral networks)
  • Management of three direct reports (Divisional Leaders) - overseeing appraisals, training, etc

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 8 - 10 years of experience working within a school setting (either in a teaching or wellbeing capacity)
  • Exposure to working within a leadership role, and overseeing direct reports
  • Ability to engage, relate, and work sensitively with the target cohort of young people
  • Passionate, empathetic, and solutions-focused in nature
  • Recognised qualification in teaching and current teaching accreditation
  • Previous experience working within a Special Assistance School is highly regarded
