The Opportunity

 Peregian Springs Country Club is a large retirement living community, home to 230+ independent living villas and assisted living apartments. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality daily care and support services for residents, with a focus on promoting their independence and well-being. You will enjoy fostering strong relationships with residents, their families and your colleagues to help ensure care outcomes are consistently exceeded. As we staff our village 24/7, we have an opportunity for a night-time Personal Care Attendant to sleep over in our village to attend to the needs of the community 

We have a  casual position available in our community working majority  afternoon shifts and overnight sleep-over shifts , where you will be paid to sleep in our village overnight If you're looking for a position that offers afternoon/night shifts, we'd love to hear from you today

You will

Work as part of a team providing safe and effective daily personal care, tailored to the resident's care needs in line with their current care plans Ensure all residents receive kind, caring and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence Provide assistance to the residents and community with tasks including (but not limited to): medical & personal support, domestic cleaning and general admin duties  Supporting residents with recreational and social activities Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents  Be passionate, trustworthy, reliable and enjoy connecting with residents, colleagues and the wider community

What you will bring

Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required) Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required) Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you) Two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required) Who we are
