Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Support Analyst with a profound expertise in Excel to join our dynamic team. As a Data Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing data to support decision-making processes within the organization. Your proficiency in Excel will be pivotal in ensuring data accuracy, creating insightful reports, and providing actionable insights to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced Excel functions (such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, PivotTables, Macros, etc.) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based tools and templates for data collection, validation, and reporting purposes.
  • Cleanse and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Generate reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights and visualizations to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical support.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency in data handling and reporting.
  • Train and mentor team members on Excel best practices and data analysis techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a Data Support Analyst or similar role, with at least 1 year of experience in utilising Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Expertise in Excel functions and formulas, with the ability to manipulate and analyse complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in creating visualisations and reports using Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus.
